Creative Farming

Hydroponic Garden

Hydroponics in gardening that uses no soil, but instead grows plants in a solution of nutrients mixed with water.

Static porous mediums such as sand, gravel, or fiber such as mineral wool (rockwool) may be utilized to secure and aerate the roots. The increased oxygen from these mediums allow for accelerated plant growth and better yield of fruits. There is no fertilized soil spill-over threat in hydroponic gardening. Neither is there much water evaporation, an advantage during water scarcity.

SCAIE is fully focused to implement Holistic Farming so that younger farmers can adopt farming as vibrant career in the comforts of their own villages rather than working in cities. We are working on Creative Farming on pilot models at our R & D center in Melbourne, VIC, Australia. We don’t have any plans to implement Creative Farming until next decade.
