Sheetal is a tribal girl recently left Highschool of my town, Kawant after studying 10th. Her family has small farm adjoining SCA Vatika. She started working as a domestic help to Indu Gorana since February 2020.
During nationwide LOCKDOWN of COVID-19, Sheetal started taking interests in learning many skills related to Holistic Farming in SCA Vatika. SCA Vatika continue with creative activities under DIY projects for imparting skills to improve life of workers back home.
Sheetal participated in one of such DIY projects of making Smart Garden Poles in SCA Vatika.
Smart Garden Poles are multi-functional garden poles designed by Suresh Gorana having Garden light, Music speaker and CCTV camera on each pole and all poles are independently functioning. Each pole also has power outlet to operate Nano farm machines and tools developed by SCAIE for Holistic Farming.
These Smart Poles are being casted in SCA Vatika under DIY project with an objective to impart extra skills to our staff and workers.
Today is the most auspicious day of जगन्नाथ रथयात्रा when these wonder poles are being casted in batch of 8 poles and total poles shall be 108, spiritually a significant number.
As can be seen in picture and video, Sheetal is casting the Smart Garden Poles and now working as a skilled Mason. Sheetal until yesterday was a domestic maid. Now she is a skilled Mason, trained in SCA Vatika when COVID-19 pandemic continuing and earning six times plus perks befitting skilled workers.
