Specific Attention on foods we eat:
SCAIE found that Organic Farming is overrated and created image to pay premium on buying farm produce (vegetables and food grains) grown using Organic fertilisers or Bio-manure for healthy foods.
However, real unhealthy foods are grown due to use of poisonous pesticides which had set in vicious cycle forcing farmers to use varieties of pesticides more and more irrespective of using inorganic or organic fertilisers more and more and that ultimately making farming itself loss making.
At SCA VATIKA we could totally stopped using pesticides and successfully attained pesticides free farming.
We also get high yields of healthy farm produce by using 10% of chemical fertilisers (compared to prevailing ways of farming globally) only as supplement nutrients for better and healthy plants’ growth (similar to supplementary nutrients we give for healthy growth of babies).
Therefore, we must break the trend that is fast catching up more as fashion of favouring organic farming.
SCAIE suggests paying premium only on pesticides-free farm produce (any vegetables and food grains). Organic or inorganic farm produce using pesticides are equally good or bad and therefore should not have any price difference.
Farmers income are possible to increase many-folds (3 to 50 times) by adopting Holistic Farming and consumers also get healthy foods at no extra price (assuming no one will use pesticides in future farming).
Increased use of pesticides had not only put consumers health at risk but also killed farming when younger farmers are migrating to cities searching jobs and not willing to continue with farming by choice.
