This is my 200th blog in sharing our dreams, knowledge, experience and expertise gained through vide range of experiments conducted at our SCA Vatika located in Gujarat, only 12 km from the Tri-point of 3 states: Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra of India (at an ancient temple, Hafeshwar in Hiddimba Van of Mahabharat Era) and just 52 km from the world’s biggest Dam, Sardar Sarovar Dam and the world’s tallest Statue of Unity and also at our R & D center in Melbourne, Australia.
Farming is an art and not a business.
Businesses have ups and downs while art has only ups.
Unfortunately, farming is equated with business in present days. Govt. policies are helping farmers and not farming which turned artists in farmers into businessmen. No doubt, why younger farmers are leaving farming in favour of working in cities.
Worldwide farmers are facing Two Basic Problems:
Availability of farm Labour
Water for irrigation
Younger farmers are now educated and not willing to adopt farming unless it is made bullock-free, labour-free, independent or lesser dependent on irregularities of monsoon and shortage of water supplies for irrigation.
Holistic Farming techniques and technologies as well as Nano farming tools and machines developed by SCAIE offer sustainable solutions making farming lesser dependent on irregularities of monsoon, bullocks-free, labour-free, easy, enjoyable and highly rewarding so that Rural Migration is effectively reversed and younger farmers can adopt farming as profession or as a vibrant career as an artist, as a scientist and also as a businessman.
Main aspects explored in Holistic Farming are:
Importance of soil health: a) Health of soil must be checked periodically at least once every decade, b) To regenerate fertility of soil, c) To reduce Hydrophobicity of soil, and d) To maintain pH of soil as desired for various crops that are planned for next decade.
Efficacy of various fertilisers and micronutrients on varieties of crops
Adopting our Holistic Farming on large scale in creative farming, vertical farming and Hydroponics (Aquaponics) and limiting Hydrophobicity with a focus on growing varieties of vegetables in the Greenhouse of SCA Vatika
To make sure that in future or now all people should have pesticides-free enough food for better health, be it Organic or Not-organic or Inorganic
To get maximum net profits for farmers in growing healthier crops
To make farmers’ income nearly 100 times by 2030
To support food supply chains globally. Without farming, food security is challenged.
The experiments conducted at SCA Vatika had achieved major objectives in improving techniques and technologies of Holistic Farming with Regenerative & Biological systems, using micronutrients, and without using any types of pesticides.
SCAIE came a long way to evolve sustainable solutions in farming.
Life at SCA Vatika:

6. SCAIE is focused to make it a reality as soon as possible by sharing knowledge in SEMINARS / OPEN HOUSE events being planned worldwide.
Specific Notes about life and COVID-19:
1) It has been two years when COVID-19 stopped the wheels of world and caged us all.
2) As humans, we are capable enough to learn from such a long time that we spent fearing dreaded COVID-19 and now must know that we can and must live with COVID-19 and all its variants keep appearing at regular intervals seeing no end in visible future.
3) Myself being a man of actions more than just words, decided to travel by driving my car India wide starting from November 2021 while taking all safety precautions all the time and at all the places meeting farmers, intellectuals in universities and industries on a “Mission Farming”.
4) Still, I advise to adopt lifestyle wearing mask, washing hands frequently and keeping safe distance while working and moving in public places to lead normal life as before.
5) Living normal and natural are the safest ways to enjoy life even in dreaded COVID-19 pandemic times.
6) Coronavirus and all its variants are here to stay forever.
7) Life must return to normalcy with changed lifestyles, social as well as religious customs away from mass-based rituals.
I wish all safe, happy and joyous life.
